As much as I love chickpeas and have cooked them a gazillion different ways, I haven't yet tired the 'tea' method --- I just keep putting it off!

To be fair, the tea doesn't add a lot of flavor. It's mostly about giving the dish a nice dark color. But I do get a kick out of using tea instead of plain water.

I love spices too. The stranger the better. I'll try to write more about spices.
