I heard from a friend that eve was opening for lunch, and yesterday (Wednesday) was to be their soft opening. Curious, I made a reservation. We showed up at 11am just as the staff were setting the finishing touches on the tables and were informed that we were their very first lunch customers.
The menu features several sandwiches, a half-pound burger, and some non-sandwich entrées including steak or fish of the day and a few salads-as-meals such as Moroccan Chicken Salad. If you like your lunches to lean more toward breakfast, check out the "omelet of the season", currently featuring Vermont sharp white cheddar with sautéed corn, tomatoes, onion, avocado, and cilantro-lime salsa. Lunch entrées run $11-16.
